Crazy excited.

June 29th, 2009

Oh no, I’m too excited about posting images from this session. Sweet Dominic has been patiently waiting for schedules and mostly rain to subside so that his 1st birthday could be photographically documented. (Try saying photographically documented 3 times fast) Well, we finally did, and Dominic did not disappoint. He’ll pose, dance, run, mumble in [...]

Well, we finally did, and Dominic did not disappoint. He’ll pose, dance, run, mumble in that cute baby way…I loved it. I’ll be back later this week with a full post.

Stacy & Jonah

June 24th, 2009

Talk about HOT! Stacy & Jonah are an incredibly sweet, charming and HOT couple. So it was only fitting that their wedding day was upwards of 95 degrees and outside! None of that mattered because these two surrounded themselves with loyal friends and family. The wedding took place at Corley Mill House in Lexington, SC. [...]

I’m so glad that I could be a part of their day.

The Askew Family

June 11th, 2009

This session was a first for me on many levels. This was the first time I met the wonderful Askew family. The first time I shot at Botanical Gardens. Well, okay, that’s about it. But, those are big firsts. I really enjoyed getting to know these 3. Sara & Michael are celebrating their sweet Micah’s [...]

The Traywick Family

June 6th, 2009

What can I say about this family? I just love ‘em. Janae and I go way back; from elementary school, to dance team to being a bridesmaid in her wedding to Jason. So, I couldn’t wait to meet their beautiful little girl, Ava, who you saw here.Enjoy the sneak peek!

Wanted:

June 4th, 2009

I am dying to find some working film cameras in addition to my 35mm camera and Polaroid Land 80A. Does anyone know of any fantastic flea markets or antique shops that may carry these little gems?

Home Improvement ’09

My dear Dad painting our shutters “new black” to replace the unfortunate blue color that was there before. Here’s a little tip: when dealing with black paint and your driveway, make sure the paint can is tightly closed before giving it a good shake.

Here you can just barely see the before color. My Dad’s awesomeness, however, is very much visible. You can also see a small bit of our front door that got pimped out with red paint, peep hole, knocker and house numbers.

Ah, backsplash. When we bought out house, there was a white, metal plate-thing that was hanging here. After flinging the hideous thing out of the window, I decided on subway tile.

And there you have it. It may not seem like a lot of projects, but believe you me, it was. Kent, my Dad and I had a wonderful time together. I can feel Kent rolling his eyes already at the next few projects that I have in store to suggest.
