They’re 6 months old! Our nieces came to town this summer and it was just in time for their 6 month session. We had not seen them since we visited for their newborn session in January. If you missed those, here they are.
Evelyn, Abigail, Sue and Graham stayed with us for the majority of the trip and what a blessing that was. It was nice to get a sneak peek into what our world will be like in a few short months and amazing to see how much these two have grown. Our dog, Heidi, was especially happy to see them. She formed a quick bond and was pretty devastated when they had to go.

I LOVE at home sessions and I think Blake does too! For his 9 month session, we kept it in home and B was ready to show off his standing skills. Blake has a wonderfully wide smile and I loved when he would show that to us. The highlight for me was watching him roll around and play on a guest bed and play with his mama. What a wonderful sequence that shows what everyday life with Blake is like.
Keep an eye out for B’s 1 year session. They’ll be lots of cake and maybe a very hungry caterpillar or 2!

This is such a special family to me, so this blog is especially meaningful. The twins turned 1 this summer and we celebrated with portraits downtown and some smash cake at Railroad Park. One of my first memories is getting a text on the day we had scheduled for maternity photos that they were in fact in labor! Ever since, I’ve had nothing but wonderful memories of these 4!
So, let’s take a quick look back at their first year.
Newborn Session: Sleeeepy boys and lots of oranges.
3 Month Session: Still a little sleepy but a little chunkier.
6 Month Session: It’s all about those hats and smiles.
